Fiona Tan
Fiona Tan, who has been presenting mainly video works since the 1990s, has also presented several photographic works. This permanent exhibition introduces "West Pier" (2006), "Närsholmen" (2008), and her latest work "Technicolor Dreaming" (2022).

Characterized by eloquent compositions and motifs, Tan's photographic works combine a dynamic time narrative with the serenity of the images. Each photographic work is presented as an integral part of a related video work, and each series is based on meticulous research. Tang's work, photographed from a precise concept, is characterized by references to both the beauty of the image and its intellectual exploration.

In her video work, Tan often uses photographs left behind by ordinary people (found photographs) rather than images taken by himself, but many of her photographic works were taken by the artist herself, and it is fascinating that they reflect her pure aesthetic sense.
