Tokyo University of the Arts is organizing an exhibition to introduce the concept of the Geijutsu Mirai Kenkyujou, meaning "art future research field," established in April 2023. This research field focuses on the significance of art as a fundamental force in human life and explores the ideal state for humanity and the planet. Unlike a closed research institute, this field serves as an open platform for various stakeholders to collaborate on open art practices and shape the future. The exhibition will feature works and projects from five key areas, extending beyond traditional academia, and will highlight collaborations with other institutions. Additionally, the university plans to organize workshops, symposiums, and online connections with concurrent events to facilitate the exchange of ideas.
