"Hara" refers to the foundational concept of the museum's collection, which offers accommodation experiences through art rooms. It symbolizes both the origin ("minamoto") of how these rooms are composed and a "field" ("hara") to perceive art rooms from a new perspective.

The exhibition aims to reinterpret the art rooms and the BnA Alter Museum itself as a complex ecosystem like a field with overlapping elements such as vegetation, ponds, stones, and insects, which change depending on the viewpoint.

Additionally, "Hara" features a series of three exhibitions introducing artists and designers who collaborate with the art rooms credited as collaborators, highlighting their contributions and artwork on the occasion of the museum's 5th anniversary.

Furthermore, this exhibition encourages collaboration among these collaborators by showcasing their works in a group exhibition format across multiple art rooms.

By shifting the focus from the center represented by the art rooms seen so far and capturing multiple centers around it, the exhibition visualizes a rich ecosystem of creativity.

In the first installment, "Hara Vol. 1," artworks by collaborators including Rieko Yamamoto, who focuses on resonating images and boundaries in her painting production, Creative Farm New Domain represented by Honoka Kondo and Takahiro Nagao, who create works inseparable from their context, photographer Shinryo Saeki, who collects life, death, and laughter in everyday scenes, and programmer Taiki Shinmi, who handles circuit design to sound synthesis, will be exhibited at BnA Alter Museum 1/2F.

Additionally, on the opening day of the exhibition on Saturday, July 13th, the 5th-anniversary party "Hara 原 vol.2- Yama" will be held.

Including the recent performances at Yokohama Triennale 2020 and Ebisu Film Festival 2024, the memorable special live performance by Yama/Complete Edition, and his involvement in Mutek JP2020, as well as his work on film scores and music composition, Kafuka (Kazuomi Eshima) will perform live. The opening of this project will be adorned by a DJ set from Ken Furudate, known for activities with sound artist Kyoka, renowned for releases from the prestigious experimental sound label raster-noton in Germany, as well as with Dumb Type.
