Artists

Geoffrey Bouillot
Geoffrey Bouillot was born in 1990 in the Burgundy region of France and has been based in Japan for 13 years, working as an artist.

Bouillot's work creates a sense of three-dimensionality in the subject through delicate curves and gradients, giving a visually original impression. Influenced by multiculturalism from a young age, he constructs unique pieces by blending different styles and techniques.

The current works are themed around artifacts originating from ancient civilizations, focusing on the weight, presence, texture, and beauty developed over time of historical relics from various cultures such as Africa, France, Japan, Latin America, Greece, Rome, and Assyria. Bouillot creatively expresses these elements.

The monochrome world characteristic of Bouillot's gradients is further enriched with subtlety and a coquettish aspect, transforming ancient artifacts into more prominent and evocative objects.
