We are very happy to announce that 《HIROO PING PONG PLATZ》, an art project by Giacomo Zaganelli, will be held at Courtyard HIROO.
“PING PONG PLATZ” is an art project by Giacomo Zaganelli, an Italian artist based in Berlin, which proposes a new way of using public space by installing a ping-pong table in an outdoor space and creates a mechanism for people to interact and various phenomena to occur. The project started in Sumida ward, Tokyo in 2022, and has been exhibited at the Mori Art Festival in Okayama Prefecture in 2024 and at the HIBIYA ART PARK in Hibiya Park in 2025.
Now, thanks to the relationship between Mr. Giacomo and Courtyard HIROO, it will be installed permanently at Courtyard HIROO. We hope that HIROO PING PONG PLATZ will become a new meeting point and a place of relaxation for the people who gather at the Courtyard.
