A comic print/caricatures, or "giga," is a humorous picture drawn for amusement, featuring witty wordplay, amusing character expressions, and sharp social satire. Through giga, the exhibition explore the humor of Edo. The first part showcases giga pieces by renowned ukiyo-e masters such as Kuniyoshi Utagawa, Hiroshige Utagawa, and Kyosai Kawanabe, while the second part will focus on "Comical Views of Famous Places in Edo," presenting the slapstick drama of Edo's streets.
