This exhibition brings together a diverse range of expressions—Japanese painting, oil painting, illustration, and textile art—each exploring the arrival of the season in its own way.
From serene, contemplative worlds bathed in gentle light to works charged with vitality through vivid color and dynamic composition, the artworks reveal the contrasts that reside within this time of year.
“Harutsukata” is a continuing exhibition series that began at our sister gallery, Hideharu Fukasaku Gallery Roppongi. Through the gradual transitions of the seasons, the series has served as a space to reflect the sensibilities of participating artists. Following this lineage, the exhibition returns to our gallery for its second edition.
Amid the lingering chill of the air, the subtle presence of spring begins to rise.
