Hatsune Katayama, Taisuke Makihara
Hatsune Katayama and Taisuke Makihara have been creating artworks about the relationship between places, things, and technologies, and are fascinated by the multilayeredness and uncertainty of the ground. This exhibition explores the thoughts surrounding the stones and place at a mountain villa in the urban area of Mishuku, Tokyo. Katayama will display a three-dimensional wood sculpture that explores the invisible underground structure, while Makihara a water-based lithographic print that uses concrete components.
