"Hi Chu Jitsu Getsu Nagashi" ~ Utopia is in a Small Cup ~

Paku Paku An
Finished
Our newly launched initiative, aptly subtitled "New Presentation of the Style to Enjoy Sake & Tea" focuses on the similarities and compatibility between tea cups and Sencha utensils, as well as sake cups and sake vessels, and aims to offer a luxurious way to enjoy both sake and tea while admiring the moon on a long autumn nights.
The world of sake vessels and tea utensils has many different ways to enjoy, each with its own "Shitsurae" (arrangement) and preferences.
The title "盃中日月長" (In the Cup, Days and Months are Long) is, of course, taken from the Zen phrase "壺中日月長" (In the Pot, Days and Months are Long).
It's an allegory for those moments when we're so engrossed in our passions and interests that we forgets the passage of time, and it's also a phrase expressing the idea of living life in such a rich way – in other words, attaining enlightenment.
Here, rather than in a pot, we aim to discover a utopia within the cup.
