Since opening in 1996, Ozaki Mindscape has been envisioned as a "Museum of the Heart," collecting and exhibiting materials created by the workings of the heart, aiming to convey emotions. This concept emerged from a reflection on the excessive pursuit of material culture at the end of the 20th century, prompting a reevaluation of the balance between material and spiritual culture.

Aiko Tezuka, a visual artist based in Berlin, explores weaving after delving into painting, tracing the threads of time woven through the dismantling of textiles, and examining the history and structure of culture and social systems. By "opening up" textiles and reconstructing them, she visually expresses the act of "connecting" past events and the present into new circuits. This exhibition introduces works by 22 artists, including paintings, sculptures, videos, and installations, from the perspectives of "opening up" and "connecting."
