The theme of Hiromi Tanaka's paintings is called "View."
"View" is an abstracted landscape. Tanaka, a mountaineering and skiing enthusiast, says, "The nature I experience, it is not just a visual experience, but a comprehensive experience of hearing, smell, and touch. When I put it into the visual form of perception of painting, I have to abstract the visual experience in order to fully depict it."
The world Tanaka depicts is filled with a dignified and refreshing atmosphere.
Hiromi Tanaka says, "I want to paint landscapes that take me to different places from my daily life and create a comfortable space when I am there."
