Hirotake Imanishi, Daisuke Yoshio
The 12th edition of the exhibition will feature works by Hirotake Imanishi, a ceramic artist, and Daisuke Yoshio, a photographer. They are both active mainly in Ishikawa. Kutani potter Imanishi, who was a former biologist, creates works related to the power of life, proliferation, and the dynamism of cells. On the other hand, Yoshio is a photographer who works for advertising, magazines, and other media. Further, Yoshio also takes pictures of the mountains and valleys of Ishikawa, the Sea of Japan, and other vast landscapes. In this exhibition, each artist will display several pieces, focusing primarily on collaborative works where Imanishi's ceramics interact with Yoshio's nature photography.
