The Bentensha Book Fair held in Gifu and Tokyo in 2023, received widespread acclaim and drew such large crowds on its final day that there were lines. Building on that success, this exhibition represents a further evolution.

In 2024, at i Gallery facing one of Japan's leading shopping streets, the exhibition will showcase new works, including the highly acclaimed "Benten-sama" and the "Incomplete Library", which features 240 types of works. This exhibition has transcended the traditional book fair format and will be presented under the new name "The[B]Store."

All exhibited works are created by Hiroyasu Shimo, and the space will be filled with anti-authenticity works created in collaboration with AI. The aim is to offer visitors discoveries and enjoyment while also providing a space to discuss future perspectives and shifts in values. Shimo himself will be present throughout the exhibition, eagerly anticipating the opportunity for direct dialogue with attendees.
