From nonsensical gag manga to highly sophisticated illustrations—his characters are brought to life with a keen eye that captures even the subtlest expressions and gestures, and his intricate linework and masterful compositions, have earned high praise as portraits of contemporary people, vividly depicting pop fashion, hobbies, and urban lifestyles.
This exhibition brings together over 500 works, including large canvas pieces and original manga manuscripts.
