Horse Bones from Where?

Equine Museum of Japan
Finished
Equine Museum of Japan has a large collection of horse bones collected by Nobuo Naora and Shigeyuki Hayashida. Among them are those excavated in Japan, those collected in China and the Korean Peninsula, and also those of current native Japanese species. However, for a long time, it was impossible to obtain information about the bones as there were no records. The museum began conducting physical and chemical analysis in 2020 to determine the material's age and reaffirmed the collection's high academic value in exploring the roots of horses in East Asia.
