Ichiro Tanida
Ichiro Tanida was born in Tokyo in 1965. Since the late 1980s, he has expanded his presence in various fields such as illustration, graphic design, and CG creation. In 1994, he gained attention for expressing his unique worldview through CD-ROM works that linked CG and music. Subsequently, drawing on his experience in CG production, he directed over 30 commercials annually as a CM director, starting with the "Laforet Grand Bazaar" series. Since 1990, he has been creating video works, and since 2018, he has also been active as VJ Technova.
Since focusing on the field of contemporary art in 2022, following his first solo exhibition as a contemporary artist titled "Graffiti Buddha," he will hold his second solo exhibition at Akio Nagasawa Gallery. In this exhibition, he will showcase paintings that have increased in abstraction since his debut exhibition.
