Ichiro Tanita
Engaged in various creative fields since the late 1980s, Ichiro Tanita underwent a transformation into a contemporary artist, presenting a solo exhibition as a painter in November 2022. Involved in roles such as illustrator, graphic designer, CG creator, and CM director, Tanita's early career spanned diverse domains. The primary theme of the paintings the artist pursued was "Namu Amitabha Buddha." Departing from earlier works featuring an original font across the entire screen, recent pieces showcase a more abstract and energetic brushstroke. The first solo exhibition in Kansai spotlights expressions emerging through deliberate acts of "erasing," showcasing the evolution of Tanita's paintings in Kyoto.
