The exhibition will feature 18 of Ikko Narahara's fashion photographs, which were mainly published in magazines in the 1960s. It is still fresh in our minds that Narahara's activities in this genre were introduced in “Ikko Narahara's Spain: A Journey of Promises" (2019) at the Setagaya Art Museum, which was his last large-scale solo exhibition before his death. This will be the first time in 19 years that vintage prints of the artist's fashion work will be exhibited since "Synchronicity" at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography in 2004.
