Seven designers present designs tailored for incredibly specialized watches.
Design Center Department, Seiko Watch Corporation will hold the Incredibly Specialized Watch Exhibition at Seiko Seed, Harajuku, Tokyo as part of the “Power Design Project 2024,” starting from January 19, 2024. The “power design project” is an exercise created to encourage in-house designers to deeply explore the essence of watches in a style different from their regular work and to generate innovative outputs. This year, we have created seven watches under the theme of "incredibly specialized watches.” Our seven designers have approached the task with seven distinct perspectives to create watches that are highly exclusive. The challenge lies in expressing new appeal through designs that specialize in specific roles. Here, each model's designer shares insights into the origins of their idea and their thoughts.
