Similar colors, complementary colors, warm colors, cold colors.
Various relationships exist in the hue circle. They complement each other and sometimes clash with each other. Sometimes they are the protagonist, sometimes they play a supporting role, and sometimes they shine in collusion next to each other. What color are the works? Exhibiting various works in one space is similar to the way paper is filled with colors. Do they not clash with each other? Conversely, does neither of them stand out? In this way, the resulting exhibition becomes a single “picture."
In this exhibition, nine artists from the Kyoto Seika University Faculty of Art, who make full use of a wide range of media including two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and video, have chosen "colors" and applied them to the hue circle, so that we can recall the background of their works and the relationship between them. Naturally, the works created by each artist are not all of the same color. Nor is there any regularity.
