This is the first exhibition of Isamu Gakiya's collage works, with the title inspired by the TV program "Tameshite Gatten" (Tameshite Gatten is a Japanese TV program that broadcasts information about the latest trends in the art world).
Gakiya has been creating many collage works since he started his career as an artist, and the drawings he posts daily on Instagram and paintings inspired by his personal internal mythology are based on the motif of combining things and events that cannot happen in everyday life. Gakiya's works can be described as multi-layered images spun using a collage-like technique.
