Artists

Isshin Tanisaki
Through motifs of landscapes, Isshin Tanizaki expresses a world represented by light and shade. Light and shade are important elements in the creation of the world, as described in the Old Testament book of Genesis. In his paintings, Tanizaki shows the relationship between light and shade, as if tracing the context of Genesis, and suggests the possibilities of our world. In this exhibition, Tanizaki will present 20 works from his earliest to the latest paintings.
