Jun Makita blends melancholy and pop aesthetics to create enchanting anthropomorphic art. This exhibition features new paintings, two framed drawings, and plush toys inspired by Purple Town, a fictional town co-created with Makita's wife. It marks the first solo show of the artist in Kansai in three years.
