Junya Kataoka creates kinetic works by giving very simple movements such as rotation, centrifugal force, and gravity to everyday items such as light bulbs, sellotape, and found trees. Rie Iwatake reconstructs fragments of various images, such as old medical books, used postage stamps and tickets, and photographs taken during her residency, and uses collage, photography, printmaking, and in recent years, painting techniques in her work.
In this exhibition, the two artists will show a combination of their previously exhibited and new work.
