This exhibition features work by leading Japanese ceramic artists, including Living National Treasures donated by Kaichi Nitta, Chairman of Hirata Ranch.

This is a rare opportunity to view the works of world-renowned ceramic artists such as Toyozo Arakawa (Living National Treasure, Order of Culture), Hazan Itaya (Member of the Japan Art Academy, Order of Culture), Yayoi Kusunobe (Member of the Japan Art Academy, Order of Culture), Shoji Hamada (Living National Treasure, Order of Culture), and Park Young Sook, a world-class ceramic artist representing Korea, in his hometown Sakata. This will be a rare opportunity to view the works of world-renowned ceramic artists in their hometown of Sakata.
