Kana Maekawa
Solo exhibition of Kana Maekawa “From That Time, From Now On.” With the theme of inheritance of negative memories, she wants to use her works as a medium to experience the memories of others. Since 2011 she has been producing her works focusing on the Great East Japan Earthquake, nuclear power plants and Fukushima. Two years have passed since she held her solo exhibition to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the earthquake in 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic. She develops her work on the theme of what we should think about now, knowing the current situation.
