Kanako Okuyama
In Kanako Okuyama's paintings, flowers, grasses, and a sense of sketchiness permeate the scene. In recent years, Okuyama has begun experimenting with ink works, and these works seem to convey a wild and fragrant atmosphere that is lifted from within the artist. Still, they also contain a sense of realism and decorativeness that is enhanced by the use of the "subotsukotsu" technique.
