The first Studio 35 minutes of the New Year will feature Katsumi Omori's slide show "The Sound of Mountains". Last year, Katsumi Omori's first book of essays, "The Sound of Mountains," was published. To commemorate the publication of "The Sound of Mountains," this exhibition will feature a looped slide show of Katsumi Omori's recent project "sounds and things.
On the first day, Wednesday the 18th, and the last day, Saturday the 28th, the artist himself will operate an analog projector to present a slide show “The Sounds of Mountain" featuring cherry blossoms shot on positive film in the early 2000s. After the screening, Katsumi Omori will be the bartender at the bar attached to Studio 35, serving commemorative cocktails.
