Katsunori Asukabe (1964-) is a mystery novelist and art collector who has gathered paintings since 1998 to inspirecreativity. This exhibition features Asukabe's collection alongside the original paintings used in Asukabe's novels. Asukabe has published 13 novels and over 20 short stories, incorporating art into narratives. The novelist's goal in collecting is to fuel a passion for painting during busy writing periods. The exhibition recreates the unique worlds envisioned by Asukabe and showcases around 60 pieces.
