Katsura Muramatsu has been presenting works that question the instantaneousness of "seeing" and photography by using photographs and text.
In this exhibition, Muramatsu will present not only photographs, but also new works such as box-shaped contraptions, scent-based works, and video works "viewed with eyes closed," in an attempt to present the entire exhibition as a memory device of a forest.
Muramatsu believes that "forest" is something that everyone seems to know, but in fact, no one knows what it is, and that it is like a concept that is free from words and names.
