The paintings by Kei Yachida evoke the texture of the hair and skin, the warmth and humidity of the body, the feel of clothing, and even the subtleties of the heart of the women depicted. The white skin floating on the silk canvas seems to bring the air they are wrapped in right to the viewer. These new works that awaken such sensations may be scenes lingering somewhere in our hearts.
