Artists

Keiko Minami
This exhibition features the work of Keiko Minami (1911-2004), who was one of the first Japanese women to discover the potential of copperplate engraving in the latter half of the 20th century. Born in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, Minami had been drawing pictures since childhood. After the war, she moved to Tokyo and exhibited her oil paintings in group shows.

This exhibition is a fleeting journey through the works of Keiko Minami. Please enjoy approximately 45 etchings by Keiko Minami and 10 etchings by Yozo Hamaguchi.
