Artists

Keisuke Katsuki

Until now, Keisuke Katsuki has primarily explored the relationship between vision and contemporary media, often using painting techniques as a starting point. He began with "Pixel Painting," in which he broke down the emitted light from images on the monitor into RGB and physically replaced it with paint. In his solo exhibition two years ago, he presented "Noumena," which combined the medium of chromatic gray, generated by the mixing of colors, with the numerical gray of optically generated virtual objects on canvas.

In this new exhibition, which can be described as a fresh artistic frontier for him, Keisuke Katsuki will unveil a series of new works created using the ambrotype, a classical photographic technique.
