Keita Kojima
Keita Kojima, born in Hyogo in 1985 and currently residing in Tokyo, is an artist. After graduating from the Visual Design Department at Kanazawa College of Art and Crafts in 2010, he worked as an art director and graphic designer. In 2020, he held a solo exhibition titled "Augmented / Words in the City" (Meets by NADiff), where he explored the relationship between the city and writing, as well as the relationship between words and people visually using AR (Augmented Reality).

In his recently published art book "Neo Tokyo: Wandering and Writing," Kojima attaches a camera set to automatic shutter to his body and wanders through the city, overlaying writing on the images (fragments) collected by the camera. For Kojima, who seeks to confirm the city by leaving traces in space using words and writing, language has the ability to reveal the world and expose hidden aspects of reality. Writing not only externalizes the inner self but also serves as a means of communication with the unseen.

In this exhibition, Kojima will present works printed on canvas from "Neo Tokyo: Wandering and Writing." The writing, extending beyond the boundaries of the canvas, becomes a new layer on the walls of the exhibition space, stimulating the perception of the viewers.
