Ixlium is an island. Those who visit feel compelled to search, but what they are looking for or why remains unknown to them. If they find it, they may leave. In Ixlium, a computer-controlled human wanders across various virtual environments, struggling against hunger and fatigue. The character must find and interact with objects in the world, and if successful, progress can be made. If the character is unable to find sustenance, they die and are replaced by a new randomly generated human. Artifacts from the virtual world, such as seeds, statues, and the wandering characters, are replicated physically in the gallery alongside printed images by Wang Newone. The simulation features music by Mechatok.
