Kimio Muraoka published a book of paintings titled "Higisou" last year and presented a unique world of expression that transcends the boundaries of Japanese painting. This solo exhibition will consist of 17 works selected from the book and new works.
The title of the exhibition, "Infinite Canon," is a musical term that refers to a type of canon form in which the piece returns to the beginning when the performance is over and continues forever. The image of an endless loop with no end note is also linked to "Rinne - Butterfly Dream," one of Muraoka's representative works.
