Kimio Tsuchiya "Blurred Boundaries"

Kimio Tsuchiya
In the "Intension" series, natural stones are covered in old glass ー mold glass from demolished houses. A small gap appears between the glass membrane structure and the stone when the stone is covered with old glass. This gap allows light to pass through and creates a slight shadow, obscuring the existence of the actual stone inside, and the old glass also obscures the shape of the inner stone. Light constantly shifts the contours and boundaries of everything in this world.
The exhibition shows the development of the old glass covering the stone is presented as drawings from various angles.
