Kiyoko Taki and Nobuhiko Utsumi have been understanding partners since their university days, navigating their shared era together. Their upcoming consecutive solo exhibitions will intertwine their perspectives and artistic journeys. Taki describes the works as a "multipersonal ego," noting that the pieces develop independently, "like cancer cells proliferating." The artist channels vivid emotions—anger, pain, joy, love, anxiety, and fear—transforming them into dynamic visual expressions. Despite reflections on despair regarding violence and discrimination, Taki's powerful art conveys a profound love for humanity.
