Feb gallery Tokyo is pleased to present the screening / VJ event "Second Three-Year Plan (2024-2026) - film collection 40.41” by experimental filmmaker, Kiyoshiro Tatekawa.
This event is part of the "Second Three-Year Plan," which began in January 2024, and we are screening 12 brand new films on a single screen. There will also be an installation exhibition of films and sounds remixed from the past works of the First and Second Three-Year Plans.
At the venue, we are selling 12 films which have been produced between April and May, totaling 82 minutes 18 seconds in length, and 17.97 GB in data volume and also past works by its weight [1GB = ¥10,000].
The Second Three-Year Plan is a system in which Kiyoshiro Tatekawa himself builds and operates the cycle of "production→publication→distribution→consumption." The whole system becomes clear by witnessing the screening of new works → sales of works → remix of works at the venue.
As an example of a new form of consumption, we will attempt to decompose and reconstruct sound using a sampling machine in addition to film work remixes this time. The ongoing project “The Second Three-Year Plan” continues to change each time.
※ The program on 7/6 (Sat) 16:00 - will be used as a film music remix by Kiyoshiro Tatekawa. He himself will perform Video Jockey.
