The museum, established in 1999, has a mission to identify and support emerging talents through open-call exhibitions for paintings. Their Artist Series showcases highly acclaimed artists from these exhibitions, featuring them in solo exhibitions. This edition highlights the winners of the 10th Haruhi Painting Triennale held from April to June 2021, including Yudai Takada, Ryo Uchida, and Takako Ishikawa.
