Kohei Umeura
Having a track record of creating original Japanese traditional paper balls (kumidama) and designing as an art director, Kohei Umeura began creating painting works primarily in oil painting through self-study in 2015. In 2023, he won the Nippon Broadcasting Award at the 36th Exhibition of Drawing Japan's Nature at the Ueno Mori Art Museum. For his first solo exhibition, ten works of various sizes will be exhibited under the theme of "Things That Hide and Reveal" from Umeura's unique perspective.
