Kotaro Hoshiyama, influenced by a childhood love for manga, delved into the world of painting, graduating from Tama Art University's Nihonga department. After a stint as an advertising designer, Hoshiyama began an artist career in 2010. The style Hoshiyama developed, "Psychological Collage," blends manga paneling with various techniques like realism and abstraction, showcasing the complexity of the subjects. Despite facing slumps, Hoshiyama embraced one's perceived weaknesses, shaping a unique artistic voice. Hoshiyama aims to depict the multifaceted nature of humanity, reflecting on different expressions and emotions.
