This exhibition takes you into the world of Kyoko Kobayashi. As the title suggests, an awareness of 'absence and presence' is an important element in Kobayashi's worldview. The impression of stillness and calmness that one gets from Kobayashi's work is deeply connected to the fact that she pays attention to certain boundaries.
