Kyoto has laid an important foundation for the formation of Japanese culture. Within the city, Maruyama Park has been loved as a place for recreation regardless of the season and has also functioned as a cultural inheritance and transmission site.

The “Kyoto Fragment Art Project (KFAP)" gathers the diverse possibilities of artists and creators to exhibit experimental artworks in parks and public spaces. Like a child playing in a plaza, the place brings suddenness and accidental expression. The exhibition will create new landscapes in "not-so-special places" that exist as an extension of everyday life. The theme of this exhibition is “reloading."
