Street Dreams Studios Tokyo’s next exhibition will be a collaborative photography exhibition "The Duality of Night" by Liam Wong and Junya Watanabe from Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Liam Wong is a Scottish director and photographer based in Tokyo, known for his best-selling photo books “TO:KY:OO” and “After Dark.” He has worked in the video game industry for over a decade and was featured in Forbes 30 Under 30. Wong began his photography journey in 2015 with his Tokyo nights series. His work has been showcased by Adobe, BBC, Canon, CNN, The Guardian, Financial Times, Forbes, Japan Times, Sony, Smithsonian, Tate, and VICE.

Junya Watanabe started his photography career in Tokyo in 2018, focusing on capturing the moments when Tokyo shines the brightest, especially at night and in the rain. He collaborates with various companies such as New Balance and provides photography for advertisements. Currently, he is working on the project "Roam Around Night City," creating photo books for each area of Tokyo. In March 2024, he released the first in the series, #1 Akihabara.

In this exhibition, both photographers capture the enchanting beauty of Tokyo's night from their unique perspectives. A cinematic journey is evoked, luring viewers into the mysterious depths of the neon-lit city, as if it were a love letter to the metropolis, transporting them to a realm of creative imagination.

From their respective collections, they will showcase their representative works as well as new pieces created specifically for this exhibition, reflecting the visual identities they have carved out as photographers from different cities. The visual narratives they've woven will intersect at Street Dreams Studios Tokyo.
