Lily Night
After studying art history and philosophy in Japan and England, Lily Knight studied contemporary art at the Tokyo University of the Arts.

In recent years, Lily Night has been digitally processing photographs taken by herself and adding paints and resins to create her work.

In this first solo exhibition in Kyoto, Lily Night will present 16 new works under the title of "A Picnic to the Clear Sky". The artist says that she approached her work with two particular concerns in mind- what is space and what is perspective in today's society, where analog (material) and digital (visual) are intermingled in various dimensions.
