Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History
Finished

Artists

Tanyu Kano, Sanraku Kano, Ganku et al.
This exhibition focuses on the "flow of time" surrounding castle palaces, exploring their function and aesthetic significance. It features a unique occasion where Nijo Castle Ninomaru Palace's wall paintings, displayed for the first time in Ishikawa Prefecture, and Nagoya Castle Hommaru Palace's wall paintings, revealed after a 35-year absence, come together. Furthermore, the exhibition presents the latest research findings on the ongoing restoration efforts at Kanazawa Castle Ninomaru Palace, which is generating renewed interest in reconstruction.
