Makers Space, Kei Bito
Japan-based artist Makers Space expresses a "pixelated" world through social networking on canvas and sculpture. The artist has been actively collaborating with contemporary artists, illustrators, coffee shops, and others. In particular, a collaboration with Makoto Matsubara at SH Gallery (Tokyo) in January 2010 brought Makers Space's work to the public's attention.
This exhibition presents 11 new works including a collaboration with wood sculptor Kei Bito. Bito has been working as a furniture maker for 10 years before becoming a full-fledged artist in 2015. As an artist, Bito has produced wood carvings, paintings, and other works.
