Makoto Fukushima
From November 12, 2022, Hidari Zingaro will hold a solo exhibition by Makoto Fukushima, "Makoto Fukushima Ceramics Exhibition."

Makoto Fukushima was born in Ibaraki prefecture in 1978. At first, he started pottery as a hobby, and since 2011 he has been working as a full-fledged artist. His work is characterized by the rough texture and strength of the clay, and he has participated in several group exhibitions.

In this exhibition, we will focus on the series of pots that the artist has been working on this year, and we will exhibit and sell mainly a larger lineup.
Fukushima has presented his works at pottery fairs, craft fairs, and group exhibitions, but this exhibition at "Tonari no Totoya" will be his first solo exhibition. A group of discerning works baked in a wood-fired kiln using the clay that he himself searched for.
Please take this opportunity to enjoy Fukushima's work, which is pursued from the material.
