Bigakko Studio
Finished

Artists

Makoto Ishigaki, Saika Kimura
A joint exhibition at Bigakko Studio featuring artists Makoto Ishigaki and Saika Kimura. Both are graduates of Bigakko and previously collaborated on a performance called "Happy-chan's Dance" at a group exhibition last year. Ishigaki specializes in collages using video and photos visualizing subtle, non-constant elements and emotions in everyday life, while also incorporating drum and percussion activities. Kimura creates three-dimensional works and paintings featuring imaginary creatures. Kimura also creates costumes and performs as Happy-chan. The exhibition will feature performances by Happy-chan portrayed by Kimura and Makoto-chan portrayed by Ishigaki, including the well-known Happy-chan's Dance (scheduled every hour from 14:00, lasting about 3 minutes each time) and the debut live performance by Makoto-chan, making it a highlight of the event.
